Rochester Teacher’s Lounge

When Kaitlin’s sons’ school PTA approached us about helping with a surprise teacher’s lounge glow up we could not jump in fast enough. Our love and appreciation for teachers runs so deep in our bones (fun fact: Erica used to teach elementary school!), and we could not wait to pour some HLD love into this sacred recharge space.

Our budget was very minimal so we had to get creative with paint, organization/decluttering, function, and economical purchases for big impact. We relied heavily on paint, table covers, accent lighting, and updated decor. The community bookshelf and new comfy seating area are just our faves. Our glow up team also received some generous donations from parents and local businesses (like that new beautiful quartz countertop!).

Our deepest thanks to everyone who helped make this glow up possible. Our teachers deserve the world, and we feel so honored to play a small part in this transformation for them .
